SUMMARY

We are seeking a proposal for an automated dispensing system and installation with customisable software which provides data and stock management and reduction of manual processes with simplified integration in to existing infrastructure. Training, ability to provide software upgrades and technical assistance and guarantee provided in aftercare.

The Project aim is to streamline operations with speed and efficiency, reduce errors, increase item numbers and revenue and be part of the pharmacies growth and expansion.

Start date is January 2025 and completion including staff training deadline is February 2025

BRIEF CONTENT

We are Rimmington’s Pharmacy, a small Heritage Pharmacy situated in the heart of Bradford City Centre. Our goal is to have and maintain a system that will reduce staffing input for dispensing scripts to focus upon Pharmacy services, aligning with the future NHS plans for pharmacies. This system will optimise our operations and maintain our prescription customer service as well as future customers. Provision to dispense 15,000 items minimum.

METHODOLOGY

Suppliers are expected to propose a methodology that includes:

• 1) Suitable dispensing robot information and specification
• 2) Size of the robot
• 3) Location of fitting within the pharmacy (on interest)
• 4) Demo or site visit of the robot in use
• 5) Software and add on and upgrades information
• 6) Software customisation and data retrieval process
• 7) Training for Employees including ongoing training platforms
• 8) Guarantee and Maintenance plans including technical helpline

9( Costing including installation

• 10) Software package cost and running costs

CONTRACT MANAGMENT

The project will commence in January 2025 and conclude by March 2025. Payments will be made upon agreement of terms and conditions between the Pharmacy Director Qaisar Sheikh and the contract provider.

AWARD CRITERIA

Proposals will be evaluated based on item, software and costing that match our need to meet our goal.
